INSTA-DIOX (Stabilised Chlorine Dioxide)

INSTA-DIOX is an effective specialized biocide based on stabilized chlorine dioxide for use in water sanitation. It also finds application in food processing and for odour control.
INSTA-DIOX is a very potent and powerful, non-toxic, bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, sporicidal biocide, activated by the use of ACTIVA (activator). It provides a clean water distribution system at concentrations as low as 0.1ppm over a wide range of pH.

Chlorine Dioxide in aqueous base

If drinking water source is surface water, it contains organic materials. Use of INSTA-DIOX offers benefits such as first functioning as an oxidative rather than chlorinating reaction. This virtually eliminates the formation of chlorinated organic compounds. Secondly, ClO2 is generated on site, thereby eliminating the need for site storage of Chlorine and or transportation thereof.

• Avoid direct exposure of the solution to heat and light.

• During preparation of the stock solution use, INSTA-DIOX followed by water and then the activator.
