Description:
AlzoNex (Albendazole) is a unique Broad-Spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment and control of Nematodes, Cestodes & Trematodes.
AlzoNex (Albendazole) eradicates all stages of G.I.Roundworms, Lungworms, Tapeworms (Head & segments) and Flukes in animals.
Indications:
The use of albendazole is indicated for infections caused by gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, and is also effective against cestodes and trematodes.

Toxicology:
AlzoNex (Albendazole) is little toxic for mammals and birds. Toxic effects after use of therapeutic doses in ruminants are not to be expected.
‘AlzoNex’ has been shown to be extremely safe in use. Trials have shown that upto 5 times the fluke-and-worm dose rate and upto 10 times the worm dose rate in cattle and 5 times the fluke-and-worm dose rate and 7 ½ times the worm dose rate in sheep have been given without any ill effects.
‘AlzoNex’ is safe to use in lactating cows also, although milk should not be sold for human consumption until three days after treatment.
14 days for cattle and 10 days for sheep should elapse between treatment and slaughter of stock for human consumption.
Extensive reproductive studies have been carried out in cattle and sheep after Albendazole usage. Although no adverse effects have been recorded, care should be taken not to exceed the fluke and worm dose rate in cattle during the first month of pregnancy or the worm dose rate in ewes during topping and for one month after removing the rams.
There are no special storage or handling requirements for ‘AlzoNex’.
Contra-Indications:
The advised dosage of AlzoNex should not be exceeded, especially during the first stage of pregnancy.
Therapeutic (in) compatibilities:
AlzoNex (Albendazole) can be combined with Niclosamide, Rafoxanide and organophosphates.
Safety Margin
Worm Dose : 7 ½ times in sheep and 10 times in cattle of worm dose.
Fluke Dose : 5 times in Sheep and Cattle of fluke dose.
Withdrawal period: (After deworming)
Milk : 3 days
Slaughter : 14 days in Cattle/10 days in Sheep.
