
– Brunel University London, scientists, is developing a molecular test and an app that can detect six major pathogens.
– The six pathogens are Newcastle disease, Infectious bursal disease and Avian infectious bronchitis, the bacterial pathogens for Salmonellosis, Avian Pathogenic Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
– The new diagnostic technology to be launched in the next three years which can be connected to a central data store allowing outbreak tracking across the Philippines.
– The U.K.’s Newton Fund supports the project with GBP615,000 (US$817,000).
